The caboose, snack bar, and coach car all have heating. The open air cars do not have heating and are exposed to the outdoor air.

Yes, there is a bathroom in the coach car and one in the caboose for passengers to use.

We ask passengers to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure time of their ride to allow time to park, pickup your tickets, and board

Due to age and vintage status of the cars, they are not handicap accessible. We do have a boarding ramp at our Hamburg location on Scott Street that leads up the train

If you have already purchased tickets and miss your departure, we can put you on standby for the next available departure. However, if the train is sold out, the tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged for another date based on availability. If you miss the train for a special event, tickets cannot be refunded but can be transferred to another comparable event.

Please dress comfortably. During steam engine rides we encourage passengers not to wear white due to soot and cinders from the engine.

No, unfortunately outside food and beverages are not permitted on the train, unless due to dietary restrictions. We do offer a variety of food and beverage options for purchase onboard with family friendly pricing

Parking is free and located adjacent to our boarding area.

No, pets are not permitted on the train. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), BC&J does permit service dogs. All service dogs must have registration tags.
